The thesis provides digital watermark solution for MPEG videos. Three application scenarios identify the parameter of the watermark application. The online-shop and digital library scenarios need a high degree of robustness and the real-time ability. The observation scenario needs a good security. The thesis analyses different existing watermark algorithms and provides improvements. The focus lies at synchronisation of marked video frames, expansion of watermark embedding to complete video, a high degree of real-time ability and the adoption of different security mechanisms like hash and signatures. The document provides the robust hash to identify marked video frames, the watermark container and distributed watermarking to reach real-time ability, a robust watermark solution for MPEG-I- and P-frames and a reversible watermark to provide a high degree of security and to get the original video.
